DETCOC 2010 - Disaster Contracting was organized by the Angelina College Procurement Assistance Center (ACPAC) because of questions asked by ACPAC Clients. This conference focused on how a business can register to be contacted during pre, during, and post disasters either natural or man-made.

Disaster Contracting Conference: this offered an opportunity for businesses and manufacturers to learn about the products and services that they can provide to Federal, State, and Local Government Agencies before, during, or after a disaster. Presentations were made by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), United States Forest Serivce, and Texas Forest Service.

Friday, 3 December from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Veterans to Business (V2B): provided information to Veterans on what programs are available to Veteran owned businesses.
Thursday, 2 December from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Veteran Benefits: provided information on Veteran programs, benefits, and how to apply for them.
Thursday, 2 December from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
